Advice : Wear sports shoes. This footpath is closed on rainy or windy days.
From the Garoupe car park, follow the paved path which goes past the big properties of Cap d’Antibes. The winding route, sometimes narrow, goes along the cliffs, crosses some small coves in a barren or green landscape. At the end of the path, pass through the door to reach the “Chemin des Douaniers”, that you have to follow until you reach the boulevard Kennedy, passing by Château de la Croë, and Villa Eilenroc. Take the street on your right, avenue de la Tour Gandolphe and finish the circuit by avenue André Sella to the Garoupe car park. If you take the bus, get the bus n°2 and stop at "Les Contrebandiers"
THE VILLA EILENROC AND ITS GARDENS (you can combine the visit with the walk above)
At the tip of Cap d'Antibes, on a superb plot of 11 hectares, you will find the villa Eilenroc. This exceptional residence symbolizes the luxury and voluptuousness of the Belle Epoque. It was built in 1867 following plans by Charles Garnier, the architect of the Paris and Monte Carlo opera houses.
The park surrounding the villa is planted with traditional species of the Mediterranean landscape. At the heart of this conservation area, a public rose garden offers the fragrances and essences of its thousands of varieties, mostly created in Antibes Juan-les-Pins, the capital of roses.

Èze - North East from Nice towards Monte Carlo
A medieval village built on top of the mountain high above the sea. From here you will enjoy a fantastic view. 40mins by car.

Parking is limited in the village, so we recommend that you visit the village early in the day as car parking is limited, there is also the Fragonard laboratory factory in the village that you can visit as well first, but to park there you will need to purchase a ticket for the tour, Alternatively you can get to Èze by rail.

Corniche D'Or
A car drive beyond Theoule sur Mer to the West of Cannes takes you along the Corniche D'Or, carved into the rocks.
La Corniche d'Or links Saint-Raphaël to Cannes and was opened in 1903 by the Touring Club de France.
The red outcrop of rock overhangs the sea to provide spectacular scenery. 20 mins by car.

In peak season it can get busy in the summer by road, so you can drive to St Maxime and get a boat across to St Tropez or get the ferry from Cannes to St Tropez that takes 1hr 15 mins (leaves Cannes 1-30 June and 15-30 September every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and daily from 1 July to 15 September).
